Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
- Experience navigating legal or policy challenges alongside business opportunities.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA, Master's degree or Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Legal, Marketing, Finance, and Technical).
- Experience in marketing research, including working with third-party vendors.
- Experience in creative problem solving across many stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of performance marketing measurement (e.g., marketing mix modeling, attribution, incrementality).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
About the job
This role is part of the Global Marketing Intelligence team in Go-to-Market (GTM). Our goal is to empower teams with proactive, ground-truth customer, seller and engaged intel that accelerates decisions, improves products, and drives sales.
In this role, you will lead strategy and execution for ads claims to underscore Google’s value to advertisers. Your role will be critical to enable thousands of sellers to pitch more competitively with strong proof points around Google’s value to customers. You will work closely with global and regional GTM teams, Policy and Marketing teams to advocate for Ads and Commerce claims council. You will be included in identifying global and regional claims priorities, writing business cases for claims, navigating and communicating policy challenges, and driving activation of newly published claims.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.Responsibilities
- Represent GBO on the Ads and Commerce claims council, approving or challenging submissions and providing deep expertise in claims policy and methodology to ensure compliance and support business cases.
- Define and execute strategic and operational initiatives for global claims, including developing work plans, socializing perspectives to improve the ecosystem, and telling a cohesive Google/YouTube story.
- Lead the claims priority ranking process to identify the top needs for Global Business Organization (GBO) sellers by triangulating regional sales feedback, quantitative research, and global marketing needs.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to activate newly published claims and deliver on complex initiatives foundational to achieving team learning and business objectives.
- Structure and package your work into compelling presentations and communications to influence various audiences, including executives.
