Principal Account Executive, GMP Expansion, SPLA (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or technology sales.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently in order to interact in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience with ad or tech sales, managing and promoting digital advertising campaigns with a focus on both performance and brand marketing.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience in GMP full-stack, notably DV360.
  • Knowledge of traditional versus online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in a sales context, and consistently overachieve goals and business objectives to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Set and drive goals for customers in Google Customer Solutions (GCS), executing business strategies to grow Google Marketing Platform (GMP) business through adoption of CM360, SA360, and DV360.
  • Manage relationships with executive stakeholders at marketer clients, agencies, and partners, acting as a trusted advisor to build C-suite relationships and ensure long-term alignment with Google’s advertising ecosystem.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating technical information to influence decision making and drive digital transformation strategies across marketing departments and leadership levels.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our ad tech platform, providing consultative guidance, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating internally to identify scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless project execution, coordinating with Google Marketing Platform teams to optimize service delivery and enhance the global customer experience.
