Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in security, or related technical domain.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Familiarity with concepts in one or more of the following areas: privacy, security, machine learning, AI, capacity management, reliability engineering, large-scale systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams/programs simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
- Strong investigative, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
$138000 - $198000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
- Serve as a key communication hub for programs. Provide regular status updates and presentations tailored to various audiences, including technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Oversee and drive multiple workstreams simultaneously. Manage dependencies and address roadblocks.
- Apply technical understanding to contribute to engineering discussions, understand trade-offs, and ensure technical feasibility. Facilitate technical decision-making and help resolve technical disagreements.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and tools to enhance program delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
