Partner Development Manager Lead, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology related sales, business development, channel sales, or partner management.
  • Experience executing go-to-market campaigns with GSIs including program initiation, business case creation, market activation and operational/executive governance.
  • Experience working with public cloud technologies in the enterprise segment.
  • Experience leading, building or mentoring teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 12 years of business development experience building partnerships to achieve mutually agreed business, product and customer goals.
  • Experience managing enterprise business-cycles and complex partnership scenarios with multiple parties with differing goals, working cross-functionally with executive customers, GSIs, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working directly with or for Service Integrator consulting firms on enterprise customer technology and cloud transformations, on a large scale.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and ability to discuss and demonstrate Google Cloud value and technology capabilities effectively to senior executive audiences.
  • Experience in delivering presentations to customers, partners, or industry events.
  • Excellent communication skills.

The Partner Development Manager (PDM) Lead owns the end-to-end partnership engagement with one of our most significant global partners for the North America region. In this role, you will be involved in a consultative selling to large enterprise clients, managing hyper scaler cloud business, driving success with large services partnerships, and leading a team. You will Possess a strong customer and partner empathy, and a passion for identifying mutually beneficial solutions in complex scenarios.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $186,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive a partner-aligned co-sell motion, including Go-to-market (GTM) alignment and customers goals, joint opportunity origination and qualification and regional communications, awareness and enablement.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual goals via ongoing co-sell execution and accelerated bookings and business growth via partner deliveries of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) workloads at enterprise clients.
  • Own and grow executive relationships between Google Cloud and the partner via multi-level executive stakeholder governance and interaction.
  • Engage in holistic partner planning including overall North America strategy, go to market alignment, financial success, tailored activation programs and joint client engagements.
  • Oversee a virtual team of executive PDMs focused on the partnership. Develop and share best practices and programs to accelerate the wider Global System Integrator (GSI) and North America (NorthAm) partner channel organization on successful partnership strategies and impactful business motions.
