Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.
- Experience with software development and managing execution of programs.
- Experience Learning Services.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in Cloud technology, development life-cycle or working with engineers.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive productivity and efficiency.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.As Leadership Technical Program Manager, you will lead execution efforts for projects or programs that span multiple organizations and product areas. You will lead the development of new products and features to create new business sources and increase business growth, and also drive technical discussions on product design.
As you lead cross-functional/organizational projects, you will negotiate scope and timelines with technical dependencies that drive changes to support the launch of a product. Responsibilities
- Communicate a project goal and strategy that informs team goals.
- Create portfolio tracking mechanics to enable informed decision making, clear prioritization, and easy risk management across the portfolio.
- Provide program and project management, cross-functional coordination across a large and complex stakeholder and customer groups to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
- Manage communication of progress/status within the team and with our partners. Create and communicate a consistent and overall view of the program (including objectives, priorities, delivery timelines, resourcing, current status and activities, longer-term goals, outcomes, issues, etc.), identifying gaps and driving alignment where needed.
- Ensure key program metrics are defined based on technical or program needs, lead cross-functional teams, and drive action to ensure program success against metrics. Develop, delegate, and lead corrective actions to address organizational challenges.
