Commercial Strategy Lead, Sales Programs and GTM Acceleration

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of commercial experience in a technology organization.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a role that requires daily communication with global teams in English.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Sales, Product and Business development functions with understanding of the full enterprise sales cycle.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
  • Understanding of Cloud technologies and commercial/ business models.
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis and modeling with an ability to translate quantitative analysis into business recommendations.
  • Ability to work with C-suite/senior leaders - internal as well as with customers, and excellent project management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to define and build complex sales motions to accelerate business growth and drive customer value.

The Sales Programs and GTM Acceleration is a thought partner for the GTM President and Regional leadership team, responsible for developing and executing on strategic sales initiatives and aspires to provide the best experience in the industry for customers, partners, and sellers. The team is responsible for identifying new scalable business generating opportunities, gathering feedback from the field and market, and improving our ability to execute agreements efficiently, improving both the field team and customer experience.


As a Commercial Strategy lead on the Sales Programs and GTM Acceleration team, you are interested in both Strategy and Operations, with primary focus on developing and delivering against a strategic roadmap for growing Google Cloud. In this role, you are responsible for design and optimization of sales programs, preparing commercial analysis to guide executive decisions, anticipate and manage reviews across regions that flow to the team, identify gaps and propose opportunities to scale revenue growth. You will monitor and analyze commercial trends and business generation opportunities in the industry/market and observing external competitor behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Design, enhance, and own operationalization of sales programs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue acceleration and increase cost efficiencies and ROI for GTM.
  • Provide commercial due-diligence and advice for the GTM processes while ensuring we improve speed, results, and seller & customer experience.
  • Identify commercial process bottlenecks and contribute towards streamlining these processes.
