Senior Financial Analyst, Technical Infrastructure Finance

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 5 years with a relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and retrieving data from relational databases.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to take charge, set objectives, drive results while building long-term relationships across organizational boundaries with all levels of seniority.
  • Excellent quantitative problem solving skills, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, databases, and analytical tool sets (e.g., SQL).
  • Excellent attention to detail, with ability to deliver multiple projects to very high level of quality, high tolerance for ambiguity and change.
  • Interest in business, finance, and technology sector.
  • Exposure to Research and Development finance functions and processes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build relationships across the Technical Infrastructure organization to gather updates, understand technical programs, monitor financial progress, synthesizing and presenting the information to senior executives.
  • Understand issues you uncover, collaborating with stakeholders to quantify and address gaps in accountability and understanding.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests and analytical projects from the Finance Director and Finance VP via deep insight and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop multi-year financial projections and associated Net Present Value (NPV) calculations for key Engineering efficiency and new technology programs, surfacing critical nuances during business case review discussions.
  • Lead, develop, and generate updates for key transformational projects across ITIA finance, sophisticated novel metrics for covered technologies, workstream automation, and consolidated tracking of program progress.
