Senior Analyst Relations Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with analyst relations with tech security products group.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing agency resources and ensure global initiatives are represented in strategic regions.
  • Strong understanding of the cloud and AI landscape.
  • Strong bias towards action with the ability to advise and make decisions quickly across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams across product, sales, and marketing.
  • Track record for managing major analyst evaluations from the communications strategy to tactical deliverables.

About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The Google Cloud Analyst Relations team is focused on lifting mindshare and cultivating strategic relationships with industry analysts and influencers who have direct influence on enterprise customer buying decisions. Our programs are designed to inform the industry analyst community about the company’s unique value proposition - from how we build new product innovations to how we commercialize and support customers through our go-to-market strategies - with the goal of increasing customer consideration for Google Cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build and execute analyst engagement programs that infuse strategic thinking with operational excellence to increase analyst confidence in Google Cloud as a long-term strategic partner for enterprise customers.
  • Develop and manage relationships with the industry analyst community to increase awareness and knowledge of Google Cloud’s security portfolio.
  • Identify, lead, and project manage strategic analyst evaluations that will significantly expand market understanding of Google Cloud’s security portfolio value proposition and differentiation.
  • Simplify complex technology concepts to help shape narratives centered around Google Cloud’s security thought leadership and differentiation.
  • Leverage analyst insights to help inform security strategies and market positioning.
