Program Manager II, Retail Store Design, Consumer Hardware

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in retail environments including store design, construction/installations, fixtures and fittings, or consumer services.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working in a global environment, on visibility projects with budgets and brand or commercial impact.
  • Experience in design studio project management and production.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as effectively collaborate with Program Management, Design, Construction, Geography and Google business partners, vendors/manufacturers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned retail projects and related production processes to effectively execute on timelines, goals and budgets.
  • Drive project schedules and communications, meeting cadence, execution of deliverables and in store fixture installations. 
  • Collaborate with the design and operations teams, vendors, fabricators to ensure designs are executed to specification and quality standards.
  • Facilitate sampling and prototyping, identify and address issues and challenges in the printing, construction/manufacturing, testing of designs.
  • Accountable to organize, record and maintain all project specific development/production documentation and specifications for integration into retail standards. Leverage practices, and tools while improving on them.
