Data Transformation Lead, Specialty Retail, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience in leading projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience identifying how data infrastructures, promoting AdTech and MarTech solutions, can lead to business value.
  • Experience with a set of data transformation skills to execute effective project planning.
  • Experience in working closely with sales and cross-functional teams and influence key, executive stakeholders internally and externally across all levels.
  • Experience in working with Google products (e.g., Google Ads, DV360, Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Ads Data Hub or Google Cloud) or similar performing products.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time-management, prioritization, verbal and written presentation skills.

As a Data Transformation Lead (DTL), you will help some of the largest global companies achieve their goals by selling and leading critical data and infrastructure projects during a moment of profound industry transformation. We need someone who is curious, inventive, and collaborative to help change the way that the specialty retail industry thinks about their data.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, data science, and engineering to drive the adoption of innovative AI-powered marketing strategies. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating client needs into technical roadmaps, and ensuring successful implementation. You will play a pivotal role in defining best practices and influencing the broader industry, making a real impact on the success of our clients and Google's growth. You will also be responsible for fostering strong relationships with C-level executives, guiding them through the strategic implications of AI and data-driven marketing.
Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$148,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Understand the durable digital measurement infrastructure strategy and help customers evolve with industry and ecosystem to achieve customer business objectives.
  • Identify, cultivate, and own marketing, data science and technology team relationships within advertisers and agency partners.
  • Innovate alongside clients to derive increased value from current and potential data, looking at current and future business opportunities that data transformation can unlock.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product/Technical specialists, and Google partners to synthesize technical and strategic business requirements into cohesive business cases.
  • Own the business cycle to drive customer adoption and growth of Google’s solutions. Develop and manage a business pipeline for product adoption progress across the book of business. Promote and triage hand-offs for implementation, acting as a liaison between key partner teams to ensure project completion and on-going value is delivered.
