Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, writing, editorial, marketing, or related, as well as leading content strategy projects. 
- Experience in designing and developing conversational AI for voice and text-based interfaces.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong understanding of the principles of user-centered design and the ability to apply them to conversational experiences.
- Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning concepts.
- Proven ability to create and document system-level guidance for AI personas and interaction models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Current with the latest advancements in conversational AI, natural language understanding, and related technologies to drive innovation.

As a model UX Content Designer, you shape product experiences with a user-centered approach supported by a technical understanding of Large Language Models (LLM). You set the vision for design and advocate for a high standard of quality. You shape the AI persona and design systems and patterns for collaborative multi-turn interactions between users and AI. You collaborate with people in a variety of UX related jobs including researchers, product managers, and engineers to translate user needs and product requirements into intuitive and helpful AI-driven solutions that help users achieve their goals.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Establish the personality, voice, tone, and style conventions for the AI model's responses and design the end-to-end conversational experience for a wide range of user interactions and use cases.
- Craft and maintain the system instructions that guide the model's behavior and response generation.
- Define the criteria and metrics used to evaluate the quality of the AI's responses. Work closely with evaluation teams to analyze user feedback and performance data to improve the user experience.
- Conduct qualitative analyses and audits of model outputs to identify bugs, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and advocate for conversation design best practices and guidelines across the team and with partner teams. Act as a thought leader, helping to drive organizational change.
