Senior Strategy and Operations Manager, Cloud Partner Marketing

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in strategy, finance, operations or marketing leadership.
  • Experience in developing financial and investment models in any type of sales, marketing or operations functions.
  • Experience with partner, advise, and develop communications for executive-level and working cross-functionally within a global organization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a Business, Finance, Technical or Engineering.
  • Experience in using enterprise CRM and financial planning tools.
  • Experience with building or managing Partnerships/ISVs.
  • Passion for technology, often demonstrated through tech/media/telecom companies.
  • Ability to mentor peers and coaching teammates on problem-solving projects.
  • Strong strategic, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

About the job

As a Senior Strategy and Operations Manager, you will lead the partner marketing strategy and operations work and you will manage a team of Temps, vendors, and contractors (TVCs). You will develop and evolve the strategy and direction of partner marketing, while designing and scaling supporting processes. You will be a thought partner to stakeholders with partner marketing, the GTM organization, and across Google Cloud Marketing. You will lead strategic projects including annual planning, and develop an end-to-end execution plan for the year.

In this role, you will lead the global Strategy and Operations work but also closely collaborate with our regions.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, Strategy and Operations leadership to develop strategic perspectives on topics that drive decisions and set the future direction of the business, including opportunities for growth and scale as well as increased efficiency, speed to market, and accelerating business impact.
  • Manage talent procurement and Point of Sale (POs) for temporary staff members.
  • Drive the annual planning cycles with global and regional marketing teams, help build and maintain rhythm of the business dashboards, metrics and run metrics/business calls to ensure the Brand and Creative team is meeting goals.
  • Facilitate budget, distribution and management throughout the year with Operations teams, Finance and Marketing teams including oversight of POs and management of vendor and agency agreements.
