Enterprise Field Sales Representative, Financial Services, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology related sales or business development at a business-to-business software company.
  • Experience in Financial Services from within the industry or working with the Industry (Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of industry experience in Financial Services (Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management).
  • Experience leading and influencing commercial and technical outcomes helping customers transform whilst delivering to growth KPIs.
  • Experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, investigative, problem-solving tools, applications software, or cloud solutions.
  • Experience in working with and managing partners in implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience successfully working on commercial and legal agreements with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, tools, or applications software into the Financial and Insurance services industries.

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will act as a trusted business partner to an assigned portfolio of greenfield or brownfield accounts to understand company challenges and goals whilst driving the growth of the Google Cloud business. You will advocate the innovative power of our products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile. You will help spread the magic of Google Cloud to organizations operating in an entrepreneurial environment and being comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with enterprise customers to help us grow into greenfield organizations.
  • Influence direction and serve as a business partner, negotiating and managing entire cycles, presenting to C-level executives in corporate and global customers.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and other internal stakeholders and partners to identify new business opportunities and align on deliverables to meet customer expectations.
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
  • Manage the operational cadence of the portfolio which includes weekly forecasting, GTM initiatives, marketing events and new business activities.
