Chrome Identity and Context Technical Program Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing technical projects in a changing industry.
  • Experience in generative AI.
  • Experience in compliance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), user consent, or privacy and security products.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making using tools like SQL, Dremel, or Python for technical performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with log analysis tools and ability to analyze system logs.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical understanding and be comfortable working with engineers from cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to define structure in highly ambiguous, fast-moving technical spaces.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and UX designers/researchers in executing projects and programs from concept to launch, planning, tracking progress, identifying and resolving issues and managing dependencies.
  • Design and roll-out processes and tools to increase the velocity of engineering teams and the quality of product launches.
  • Provide program management leadership for the portfolio of Trust and Safety (T&S) priorities and establish partnerships with engineering, product and UX leads.
  • Deliver continuous and goaled transparency to keep core team members aligned and stakeholders informed.
