- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in a partner management role.
- Experience in political media, including business development, communications, programming, and audience growth.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in business development with complex media companies and their tactical planning.
- Experience in partnership management in an online media company.
- Ability to communicate with external stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent political decision-making skills.
About the job
In this role, you will represent political creators, publishers, and other media on YouTube across the globe and must accurately represent and advocate for partners ecosystem needs. We work with YouTube content creators and partners in the podcasting space to help them build and grow their business on the platform. In addition to the portfolio of partners under your management, you will work in coordination with regional and cross-functional business teams across YouTube and Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with political creators and publishers. Manage day-to-day operations, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests, troubleshooting and bringing issues to resolution.
- Consult with partners on YouTube channel strategy development and platform tools, define and measure relevant performance metrics.
- Organize programs and events to help political publishers best utilize YouTube.
- Manage the development of YouTube’s political publishers strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
