Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in a senior role creating strategy and designing products
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading large teams and driving organizational design, career development, operations and culture
- Experience or passion for building socially impactful products and driving change in learning and education
- Strong product sense with an ability to deal with product ambiguity
- Excellent managerial and operational skills
- Track record of navigating complex issues with senior stakeholders
About the job
As the PM Director you will lead a team of product managers focused on supporting educational institutions adopting Google technology, building Edu-focused products such as Google Classroom and Read Along, and driving transformation in the sector with AI.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$383,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Inspire, motivate, and lead a team of product managers.
- Conceptualize and deliver on the strategic direction and product roadmap for Edu efforts.
- Shape go-to-market, growth, and commercialization strategy for Google products in the education sector.
- Drive company-wide efforts around trust, safety, and compliance requirements for the Edu user base.
- Push the envelope on how technology can help people learn, by pioneering new tech-enabled learning. Partner across Google to ensure we deliver high quality and impactful experiences to education users.
