Data Cloud Consultant, Global Services Delivery (English, Arabic)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in planning and executing the governance of cloud adoption, IT transformation and cloud migrations.
  • Experience with different types of data modeling techniques and methodologies for traditional Online Analytical Processing or Online Transaction Processing (OLAP/OLTP) databases and modern data warehouses.
  • Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate in English and Arabic fluently in order to interact with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in GCP Professional Data Engineer or other relevant cloud certifications.
  • Experience reading software code in one or more languages such as Java, Python, NodeJS, Golang, Javascript.
  • Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data quality management.
  • Experience with a range of GCP data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer).
  • Ability to learn, understand and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.

As a Data Cloud Consultant, you will work directly with Google’s most strategic customers on infrastructure projects that transform business. You will provide consulting, program management, and technical expertise on customer engagements, while working with client executives and key technical leaders to deploy solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will also work closely with key Google partners to deliver joint consulting services, providing technical guidance and infrastructure best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful implementations of cloud solutions becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
  • Translate complex customer data requirements into recommendations for appropriate solution architectures, consulting services, and implementation plans. 
  • Lead the program management of multi-functional Google Cloud Delivery Center projects, with a focus on data-related deliverables. This includes program planning, delivery assurance, tracking, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management. Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  •  Demonstrate deep expertise in data pipelines, data analytics, data visualization techniques, and data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT, and reporting/analytic tools and environments. 
  • Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines.
