Strategic Insights Lead, Finance, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience gathering technical and financial data to promote products, services, and solutions.
  • 8 years of experience using the business lifecycle to drive growth, and analyzing and applying industry, market, and organizational information to strategies/plans.
  • 6 years of experience working in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently in order to interact in this client-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including research design, data collection, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Deep understanding of the Finance and technology landscape, including digital trends, online platforms, and business models.
  • Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and connect insights to strategic implications for the business.
  • Ability to communicate complex insights in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to different audiences, including senior executives.
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.

As a Senior Strategic Insights Lead at Google, you will help shape the company's strategic direction. We are experts in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex research and analysis, this may include market research, trend analysis, data modeling, and user studies to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Translate raw data into clear and concise narratives, focusing on the strategic implications for Google. Present findings and recommendations to executives, product managers, and other stakeholders in an effective way.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product, marketing, sales, and engineering, to integrate strategic insights into the decision-making and product development process.
  • Monitor the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in consumer behavior to provide forward-looking and relevant insights.
