Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory.
  • 4 years of experience in Program or Project Management.
  • 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent practical experience in a technical, quantitative, or business field.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • Knowledge in business development and strategic partnerships with the understanding of the OTT subscriptions or hardware distribution ecosystems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels, including cross-functional peers and executive leadership.
  • Excellent deck-building, written and verbal communication skills.

About the job

The YouTube Business Go-to-Market (GTM) team is responsible for driving all go-to-market functions for the YouTube Business Organization including strategy and business operations, analytics and data science, partnership enablement, and product activation. The team shapes go-to-market priorities to accelerate growth and resource the business accordingly, enhancing skills and capabilities to support execution of business priorities, driving efficiency across business operations, and building excellent go-to-market infrastructure (e.g., data, reports, dashboards). This team combines strategic, operational, and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done and drive change across a global organization.

The YouTube Product Partnerships team drives partner strategy and manages the key relationships that help to build, distribute, grow, and protect YouTube’s products globally. We own the business side of new features, products, and initiatives that are vital to the success of YouTube. We know how to assess partnership opportunities in any situation, define a strategy, and work closely within our team, and with Product, Marketing, and other stakeholders to drive critical partnerships that help evolve our business.

As a Partnerships Strategy and Operations Manager, you will work closely with the YouTube Product Partnerships (YTPP) leadership team to help the business grow and operate effectively. You will ensure the teams are maintaining a holistic view of partners and executing against YouTube’s most critical priorities. You will be driving deliverables for critical internal alignment and approval forums, preparing key leaders for internal and external commitments (e.g., QBRs, partner meetings, conferences), supporting annual strategic planning and OKR processes, and effectively communicating teams’ contributions and impact.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own internal and external exec-level presentations, including partner quarterly business reviews (QBRs), product reviews, and partner strategy/agreement approval forums.
  • Drive the annual planning and global/regional OKR processes in close collaboration with YouTube Product Partnerships (YTPP) and Cross-functional (XFN) leadership.
  • Lead critical strategic and operational projects based on emergent business needs. Participate in early discussions on behalf of the business (including with cross-functional teams) to scope new projects.
  • Identify problems and issues across organizations, create programs and processes to solve them, and influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Partner closely with other functions relevant to the team, including Product and Engineering, Communications, PR, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Legal, and Operations. Use cross-functional knowledge and seek to understand issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence the business.
