Administrative Business Partner, Data Center Operations (English, Dutch)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in an administrative role in an international environment working on core administrative tasks (e.g., travel management, expense reports, calendar management, facilities coordination, etc.).
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Dutch fluently, to support the client management in the region as well as interact with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in supporting large global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Knowledge of new tools and technologies and interest in using technology to improve efficiency.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, and take initiative to build productive relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.

You anticipate the needs of your managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest Google products and services. You also use that knowledge to strategically support your team's projects. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a wide range of site related administrative tasks, such as calendar management, travel arrangements, expense report preparation, off-sites planning, and meeting organisational deadlines.
  • Execute the team plan with minimum guidance, while managing ambiguity. Oversee the site culture committee, and inclusive team culture.
  • Plan, organize, and execute internal and external programs and events, and manage event logistics in collaboration with internal partners and external vendors.
  • Collaborate and share best practices with other Administrative Business Partners (ABP), while ensuring equitable distribution of workload.
  • Build effective responses into existing operations, and help define/improve new operational strategies and support Business Program Managers by onboarding new vendors, addressing minor invoicing issues and escalating if necessary.
