Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to lead operational and strategic initiatives.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, fast ramp-up on new problem statements and opportunities.
- Excellent team player with the ability to successfully execute cross-functionally.
- Effective networking and influencing skills, with the ability to work across various functions.
- Excellent Problem solving and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and create simple, compelling narratives for different audiences.
About the job
As a Strategy and Operations, Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on Global Business Organization (GBO) and Go-To-Market's (GTM) top business priorities. You will work with regional and country leadership to identify, design and implement opportunities to drive business growth and continuous improvement. You will partner with Central Strategy and several other GTM teams to deliver on the region's most important business priorities and enable our sales organization. You will have the opportunity to work on a breadth of topics in GTM and get exposure to several aspects of the business. You will support GTM teams in making critical strategic decisions and achieving their business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Drive complex, cross-functional projects with ownership of select project initiatives, driving alignment and enabling decision making across multiple Google product areas to achieve sales and partnership goals.
- Provide critical analysis and data-driven recommendations to executive leaders on priority topics, identifying opportunities for growth and resolving operational inefficiencies.
- Provide day-to-day strategy and operations support to executive leaders, contributing to the overall business strategy and project scoping for APAC. Work with executive leadership (regional and country) to define, launch and drive strategic initiatives.
- Solve complex problems, applying a wide range of tools and approaches to develop optimal outcomes. Demonstrate the ability to resolve ambiguous situations with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Develop and demonstrate working knowledge of market, product, organizational, and cross-functional nuances, leveraging this expertise to contribute to strategic initiatives and recommend improvements.
