Strategy and Operations Associate, Go-To-Market

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

  • 1 year of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills, with ability to leverage AI and standard investigative tools to drive program management.

The APAC Business Strategy and Operations team provides business critical insights, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities across business, regulation, and reputation with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a Strategy and Operations Associate for the APAC Go-to-Market Velocity team, you will have the opportunity to work on Google APAC and Go-to-Market's top priorities. You will drive velocity’s strategic priorities that are set up to help unlock future growth and innovation in APAC. You will work alongside regional leadership and cross-functional teams to help design and execute initiatives that unlock long-term business growth and innovation in the region. You will partner with Country Go-to-Market teams across APAC to deliver on their core priorities. You will focus on the velocity program, and get exposure to several aspects of the business. You will support GTM teams by tracking key metrics, understanding key velocity programs, and providing actionable insights to inform critical strategic decisions. With your problem-solving and collaborative skills, you will own and drive specific modules of our organizational efficiency and GTM strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Support the velocity annual planning process for APAC by conducting deep analysis and delivering data-driven insights to team leads and managers on high-priority topics.
  • Support complex, cross-functional projects by taking ownership of specific workstreams, helping drive alignment and execution across strategic priorities.
  • Provide day-to-day strategy and operations support, owning systems for tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), contributing to quarterly updates for APAC leadership and the operational rhythm for APAC velocity.
  • Collaborate closely with team leadership and cross-functional teams to execute, measure, and refine workstreams that drive strategic priorities.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the APAC regulatory landscape across key markets, organizational structures, and key velocity strategic priorities to execute process improvements.
