Investor Relations Analyst

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, a quantitative nature, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in research, investor relations, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or a related investment function.

The Investor Relations team communicates the strategy and financial performance of Alphabet to the investment community.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000-$132,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Monitor research reports, investor expectations and peer performance, providing concise summaries to the IR team, and other key stakeholders within Google. Maintain the internal database of Alphabet shareholders and analyze changes in ownership trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of earnings materials, including drafting financial tables, preparing executive question and answer documents, and reviewing earnings call transcripts.
  • Update and maintain the investor relations website to ensure quarterly earnings materials are published accurately and on time. Manage the IR inbound email alias, triaging requests from analysts and investors and ensuring timely responses. Assist in the creation and distribution of the IR team weekly update for the investment community.
  • Support the planning and execution of Alphabet’s participation in internal and external investor events, including the preparation of materials for executives. Track and analyze shareholder engagement data.
