Training and Advocacy Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with training tools and systems.
  • Ability to adapt and operate in a fluid, constantly evolving, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent investigative skills (e.g., A/B analysis, return on investment, job costing, etc.).

About the job

As Channel Sales and Activation Training and Advocacy Manager, you are accountable to manage Training and Advocacy (TandA) day-to-day activities for key partners in Japan. This will be measured by coverage, the number of Retail Sales Associates (RSAs) trained, and effectiveness, Mystery Shopping scores and survey/quizzes, which will be evaluated against country targets. .

You will need to have a solid domain foundation and the flexibility, talent, and aptitude to learn new areas of the business, as well as a fundamental understanding of retail/carrier trading to influence across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Retail Sales Associate (RSA) recommendation rates and knowledge scores. Drive RSA advocacy as measured by activity rates, and RSA surveys.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to build training programs to drive Devices and Services Business Organization (DSBO) business objectives.
  • Work with external partners to build training programs that will deliver maximum impact in each channel.
