Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in software testing, software quality assurance (QA), software test design, or software testing product launches.
- Experience working on consumer electronics (i.e., consumer devices, phones, tablets, wearables, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with data analytics and developing dashboards using basic programming tools or advanced spreadsheet tools.
- Ability to close partnerships while navigating ambiguity around immature, fast moving products.
- Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills.

The Product Test team ensures exceptional customer experiences for Google's new and in-market products. Using specialized testing methodologies, we translate critical user feedback into actionable hardware and software improvements.
As a Technical Program Manager for Product Quality Assurance, you will lead, define, prioritize, and drive optimized testing for Google products to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your responsibilities include robust test coverage, identifying gaps, analyzing escaped defects to prevent regressions, and driving critical issue resolution before key milestones.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive, user-centric test strategies, methodologies, and plans in collaboration with Hardware/Software partners and testing teams.
- Conduct escaped defect analysis to optimize test plans and prevent regressions in future products.
- Oversee the management and analysis of test results across cross-functional teams.
- Prioritize and drive test execution, ensuring robust coverage focused on critical user scenarios and pain points.
- Build, operate, and manage the Product QA team, monitoring performance against key product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
