Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of industry experience analyzing, extracting, and visualizing valuable insights from large and diverse datasets.
- Experience conceptualizing, designing, and building high impact machine learning solutions that were integrated into production systems.
- Ability to both effectively collaborate with teammates and independently drive workstreams forward and overcome any obstacles that arise.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively and concisely convey the results of your work both verbally and in short write-ups.
- Track record of delivering analytical recommendations that were adopted by an organization and drove real-world business impact.

Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.
Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google Ads products. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote users’ trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects/investigations and cross-functional initiatives within Google, interacting with senior stakeholders from engineering, legal, product teams and more.
