Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • 4 years of experience supporting commerce businesses for digital products or platforms.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with app ecosystems, including distribution and monetization models.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with ability to turn ambiguous questions into clear hypotheses, workstreams, and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong program management and cross-functional orchestration skills, including managing timelines, documenting decisions, and driving launch readiness and post-launch analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical, business, and policy constraints into actionable tradeoffs and decision points, and present effectively to senior stakeholders.

The YouTube Product Partnerships team drives the partner strategy and manages key relationships that help to make YouTube’s products more universally accessible and useful. We own the business side of new products and initiatives, and our strategic partnerships seek to build, distribute, grow, and protect YouTube’s products globally. We know how to assess partnership opportunities in any situation, define a strategy, and work closely within our team, and with Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical partnerships that help evolve our business.

In this role, you will be a core member of the team that oversees YouTube’s partnerships with mobile commerce growth partners across app stores and the broader payments ecosystem, owning key, high impact initiatives. You are passionate about maximizing opportunities between partners, identifying where platform capabilities can unlock growth outcomes, and aligning teams around shared priorities. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, and Legal to shape partnership strategy, anticipate risks and tradeoffs, and move initiatives forward with clear direction and accountability.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Participate as a core member of the team driving YouTube’s partnership with major mobile OEMs and other commerce ecosystem partners, helping shape strategy, prioritization, and execution to drive measurable impact for YouTube.
  • Identify, size, and prioritize new partnerships opportunities across YouTube’s paid product purchase funnels. Build and maintain a strong understanding of app distribution and business models and apply that context to evaluate product and partnership opportunities.
  • Drive decisioning on new opportunities by developing business cases, outlining tradeoffs, documenting risks and dependencies, and securing cross-functional support.
  • Manage day-to-day partner engagement with major mobile OEM partners on commerce topics by leading external discussions, capturing decisions and action items, and ensuring consistent follow-through.
  • Deliver stakeholder updates that regularly communicate team strategic objectives, performance milestones and key learnings.
