Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, strategy and operations, or a related role.
  • 7 years of experience in strategy development and execution within business environments.
  • 2 years of experience directly managing teams, including coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  • Experience leading and delivering programs with business impact.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree.
  • 7 years of experience managing stakeholders, including executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading and managing high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, accountability, and high performance, with a proven ability to develop and inspire talent.
  • Understanding of the broader industry and competitive landscape, ideally within the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to influence direction and strategy at the executive level.
  • Deep expertise in multiple critical business areas.

Google is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Head of Strategy and Operations for our global Strategic Partner Program. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, ensuring operational excellence, and leading key initiatives across our engagements with Google's most significant partners. You will act as a key advisor to leadership, fostering cross-functional alignment and leading a high-performing team focused on maximizing the impact of our strategic partnerships.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead critical strategic initiatives for our Global & Americas Strategic Partner Program (e.g., partner strategy development, complex issue resolution & insights, industry trend analyses, strategic recommendations) to drive commercial success and support Google's product priorities.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Strategic Partner Program leadership team, contributing to the development and delivery of impactful internal and external communications for senior stakeholders.
  • Drive operational excellence and manage key Chief of Staff responsibilities for the Global & AMS Strategic Partner Program organization and leadership team, including overseeing regular business review processes and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to ensure effective alignment and collaboration on key projects and operational workflows.
  • Lead, mentor, motivate, and coach a high-performing Strategy & Operations team.
