Senior Staff Business Systems Analyst, Supply Chain Systems

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience building integrated systems throughout the entire life-cycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support).
  • 12 years of experience designing and implementing supply chain systems.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, including training, validation, and deployment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing and driving system requirements and alignment across business units (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Source to Pay).
  • Experience working with and influencing cross-functional leaders to define requirements and manage technical portfolios.
  • Experience creating and scaling new opportunities to improve domain critical Key Performance Indicator (KPIs).
  • Experience designing and implementing Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning solutions to address business issues.
  • Experience in expert technical process analysis skills to translate business requirements into comprehensive solution architecture.
  • Understanding of the software development life-cycle (SDLC), system integration methods, data modeling, and agile project methodologies.

The team identifies time-consuming internal processes and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently.

With your technical expertise, you build business applications and influence the design of features that improve the reliability of our applications and systems. You also define the scope of technical projects and oversee execution.

In this role, you will encompass defining the definitive systems roadmap, providing executive oversight for the execution of the most intricate system implementation programs, and offering expert guidance and mentorship to the broader BSA team. Your role involves spearheading the exploration, seamless integration, and deliberate adoption of AI-powered solutions within our core business systems to unlock unprecedented levels of efficiency, comprehensive automation, and data-driven decision.

In this role, you will collaborate directly with executive leadership to manage the systems portfolio, exert influence over major technology investment decisions, and ultimately guarantee that our foundational technology infrastructure operates with maximum performance, foresight, and resilience, thereby directly accelerating the delivery of high-impact, transformative business solutions.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$311,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and communication of a long-term business systems strategy that directly supports cross-functional organizational goals and scales with the business.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and systems expert, fostering partnerships and securing alignment on technology solutions and implementation plans across business units (e.g., Cloud, Core Engineering, Finance).
  • Identify, prioritize, and drive the execution of projects focused on integrating AI capabilities into core supply chain systems to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and realize business value.
  • Drive adoption and optimal utilization of SAP across the supply chain landscape, by identifying, prioritizing, and transforming SAP capabilities (including AI innovations within SAP ecosystem) to modernize business processes and maximize ROI.
