Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting, or 13 years with advanced degree.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
  • Experience in the Consumer Electronics, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience leading and managing large, complex partnership initiatives.
  • Experience in structuring complex agreements, negotiating terms, and managing the entire partnership life-cycle from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Experience building consensus and driving alignment across stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the landscape, including emerging trends, engaged forces, and disruptive technologies.
  • Ability to identify, develop, and execute innovative partnership strategies that create new business opportunities and drive engaged advantage with excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.

As a member of Global Partnerships Sellside, you will connect the world's advertising demand to publisher inventory and protect user privacy so that publishers grow in a transparent, safe and sustainable ads ecosystem.

As a Head of Analytics and Business Development within Exchange Platforms, you will provide oversight of high-growth, developing teams with an emphasis on business analytics, commercials, and program development. You will lead the investigative team that drives all business intelligence for the programmatic business of third party demand partners, agencies, and brands. You will also lead our commercial negotiations, driving business development for emerging business lines like Retail Media and our agency and advertiser-facing commercial programs. You will drive scaled business generation and ensure our global commercial offerings have the executive-level engagement required to succeed in a complex market.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$312,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and scale commercial programs, implementations, analyses and adoption globally as a key business lever and enforce rigorous accountability for pipeline hygiene and sales activity, utilizing key metrics to provide accurate forecasting to executive leadership.
  • Guide the Retail Media Business Development team to drive partnerships and strategies that will allow the business to scale income , as our Retail Media product suite comes to market.
  • Guide the Analytics teams to partner cross functionally with Sales and Agency Activation to unlock new business streams through rigorous performance analysis and data-driven media sales recommendations.
  • Provide leadership support for high-growth Analytical and Business Development teams, fostering a culture of mentorship, coaching, and accountability.
  • Lead cross-functional workstream across Global Partnerships Sellside relating to Analytics and Commercials to ensure strong alignment to the Exchange Platform’s business and business objectives.
