Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in sales in the technology industry with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) products and platforms.
  • Experience with consulting in cloud based technologies.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to communicate with external and internal stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in sales in the technology industry with SaaS products.
  • Experience in developing product/solution messaging, narratives, and value propositions.
  • Strong understanding of the Japanese business landscape and culture.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to collaborate with global stakeholders.

As a Google Workspace Sales Specialist, you will be at the forefront of transforming how businesses in Japan work. You will advocate the adoption of Gemini for Google Workspace and our cutting-edge AI technologies, empowering organizations to achieve new levels of efficiency, collaboration, and innovation.

This role focuses on driving the sales of Google Workspace, including Gemini, within the Japanese market. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and collaborating closely with internal teams and partners to drive business growth.

You will be introducing groundbreaking AI technologies like Gemini to the Japanese market, shaping the future of work. You'll directly contribute to the growth of Google Workspace and help organizations transform their operations. In addition, you'll work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a highly collaborative and supportive team. Lastly, you'll benefit from ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the value of Google Workspace, including Gemini, across various sectors (Enterprise, Corporate, Education, Government) to acquire new customers and expand adoption.
  • Own the entire sales process from lead generation and qualification to closing agreements, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and IT decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Work closely with Google Account teams (e.g., Business Development, Customer Engineers) and Google Partners to identify and develop new business opportunities and maximize results.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge of Google Workspace and Gemini, and stay current on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
