Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, and managing executive stakeholders.
- Experience leading teams, with a strong focus on coaching and mentoring.
- Ability in learning systems and tools, and driving or designing improvements.
- Ability to speak to both technical and business stakeholders, users and interact at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to successfully develop team members.
- Excellent project management, relationship building and change management skills.
About the job
As the Head of the Asia Pacific (APAC) Tools team, you are responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams through connected workflows, enabled by easy to use tools. You manage a team that collaborates with other Go-to-Market (GTM) and sales teams (product, global tools, sector and geo) to enable the sellers on the tools, and make recommendations to global tools teams based on seller feedback and business requirements.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of regional product leads to manage high-profile projects with cross-functional stakeholders to improve internal seller tools and accelerate business.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand top business needs related to internal tools, build business cases and prioritize requirements for APAC LCS.
- Manage and communicate testing and launch of new tools and features to the sales teams in partnership with global product experts and our sector and geo aligned Go-To-Market teams.
- Influence the overall tooling goal and strategy to enable seller efficiency and assistive workflows.
- Leverage investigative skills and business judgment to create and implement operationally efficient scaled deployment solutions. Synthesize and prioritize regional feedback, make recommendations on internal business tools.
