Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • 5 years of experience within enterprise software or developer platforms.
  • 5 years of experience within product-led growth space.
  • 3 years of experience managing or leading teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience leading a global team pursuing global market opportunities.
  • Experience operating a profit and loss with support or ownership of business goals.
  • Experience with designing, launching, and interpreting A/B or multivariate tests.
  • Ability to be comfortable with funnel modeling, segmentation, cohort analysis, and experimentation design.

About the job

At Google, our Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally.

The Growth GTM team is responsible for ensuring our products can reach and engage the maximum number of developers, users, and customers possible through our online channels. You will be responsible for the outcomes tied to our online channel including business and engagement driven by millions of developers worldwide. You will own our marketing channels including our website, email, paid media, social, GenAI/no-code/low-code interfaces, and engagement with other Google marketing and developer teams. You will lead the team through data-driven decisions, hypothesis-driven experimentation, rapid iterations, and user-centric design to deliver the most meaningful near- and long-term growth for our online channels.

As the head of our Growth Strategy and Operations team, you will work cross-functionally on projects that improve our acquisition, adoption, onboarding, and cross-promote stages of Google Maps Platform’s online self-service business. You will be our online leader owning the decisions, and the data driving those decisions to drive Return on Investment (ROI) for our online channels. You will partner across other Google teams including, Google Central Marketing, Product, UX, Developer Relations, Data Science, and Go-to-Market to make data-driven decisions to achieve our product-led and scaled growth goals. You will also ensure that our online growth efforts are aligned with other Google Product Areas, especially Google Cloud and Google Developer.

The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more. Every month, more than a billion people rely on Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily lives.

The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$302,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for online business stream including: forecasting reach/engagement/business, executing on all digital marketing channels, analytics for marketing A/B testing programs, partnering with product to drive the buyer’s journey and metrics across marketing pipeline/product adoption/conversion, defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for central Google Marketing teams.
  • Deliver cross-platform campaigns and messaging that span across the portfolio.
  • Partner with product to create and execute our low- and no-code strategy including the implementation and scaling of low- and no-code interfaces to our digital surfaces like first-party agentic experiences and engagement with second and third-party agentic experiences.
  • Collaborate with teams on other scaled channels such as Cloud marketing, developer site, developer console, and developer communities.
