Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in either system design, or in one of the programming languages (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 3 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as a developer in Mobile Apps space, or Ad business generation.
  • Experience in working with technical teams.
  • Experience in debugging customer issues.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects with competing priorities while working independently to drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent investigative, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

About the job

In this role you will be a part of the Ad Tech Sales Engineering (ATS) team within the Sellside organization and will have direct engagement with mobile app developers in the industry and use your insights from working with these companies to deliver publisher business growth and influence product strategy and design. You will be working with the sales teams as the product expert and technical consultant on Ad business generation for products to help mobile app companies build and grow their businesses.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build expertise around mobile app Ad business generation for products and implementations (Android, iOS).
  • Resolve product and technical escalations from sales teams and develop solutions to scale support.
  • Drive technical and product consultations with mobile app developers. Work with sales teams to provide the right solution for their business. 
  • Identify opportunities to optimize sales strategies and workflows. Develop and roll out best practices to accelerate product adoption and growth.
  • Represent the publishers, and work with teams across Go-to-Market, Product Management and Engineering to influence product strategy, design, and prioritization.
