Onboarding Program Manager, Googler Experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience in owning and managing the end-to-end delivery of large-scale events.

The Ireland HR team are the advocates of Google's culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make sure all people's decisions are based on data. We provide a structured, location-based approach to manage the operational complexities, onboarding experiences, compliance risks, and cultural nuances that are unique to the sites and countries where Google operates.

As the Ireland Onboarding Program Manager, you will work closely with the IE Market Consultants and IE Site Program Managers to deliver an extraordinary onboarding experience to new hires in Google Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate issues and proactively propose solutions, manage dependencies and cross-functional issues, and identify the need to develop or improve tools/processes while balancing the immediate needs of projects with long term goals of the site.
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making skills to pivot, adapt, adjust, and iterate upon learnings for continuous program improvement. Recruit and coordinate new hires across all product areas, assigning rotating roles and responsibilities to ensure effective management and consistent coverage for onboarding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive the onboarding program forward, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of onboarding processes and tools by identifying opportunities and implementing changes.
  • Innovate in design, develop long-term scalable creative solutions, and strive to build an extraordinary onboarding experience with a significant impact for every new employee.
