Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
- Experience with cloud sales or selling to State, Local, and Education customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience promoting cloud computing technologies to organizations across geographies and functions
- Experience in sales to the State of New Jersey.
- Ability to understand and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.

As a Field Sales Representative covering the Public Sector, you will be working on State, Local, and Education accounts. You will leverage existing relationships with C-level executives, develop relationships, and act as a trusted business partner to understand unique company challenges and goals. In this role, you will promote products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000-$240,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build and executive relationships with public sector customers. Influence and serve as a business partner.
- Negotiate and manage the entire cycle, often presenting to C-level executives in public sector customers.
- Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, collaborate with Customer Engineers and Google Partners in order to optimize business results in territory and open up opportunities with public sector customers.
- Understand each customer’s technology footprint, growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and competitive landscape.
- Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
