As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As an EHS Program Manager, you will be a key contributor to continuous improvement across Google's EHS operations. You will separately manage the full lifecycle of programs, proactively identifying, organizing, and leading program activities that drive impactful business, operational, and technical improvements within the EHS domain. This includes defining and addressing undefined cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges, utilizing program management methodologies to effectively monitor and manage programs and stakeholders.

Our organization is committed to protecting the physical, emotional, and mental health of our teams through proactive and engaging safety programs and services.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of EHS programs, ensuring alignment with Google's overall EHS goals.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive future optimizations within EHS programs, including change management and performance metrics. Possess a proficient understanding of the EHS domain and regulatory landscape, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Define, scope, and lead ambiguous cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges, using separate judgment to adjust programs effectively in response to changing circumstances.
  • Monitor, communicate, and manage program progress, risks, and mitigations. Work closely with partner teams to manage program changes and align stakeholders on decisions. Engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture and operations, making Google a better place to work.
  • Understand and manage expectations of cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment through effective communication and collaboration.
