Product Manager, Culture Technology, Office of the CIO

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of product management experience defining opportunities, writing requirements, and taking products through their full life-cycle.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • Experience with AI-powered tooling and agents or third-party AI tools (e.g., identifying requirements and launching AI assisted tooling).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • Experience defining product requirements that address user and business needs.
  • Experience with industry standard product management and UX tools (e.g., Figma).
  • Experience working with cross-functional and cross-organizational partners (e.g., engineering, design, research, or communication teams) to launch products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate product ideas and strategy to stakeholders.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products that support Google's internal online communities, enabling Googlers to find healthy connections, ask questions to leaders, or provide valuable insights to stakeholders across Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve requirements across the team's portfolio of products; represent the portfolio across Google, including communicating with business stakeholders and Googlers.
  • Define requirements and metrics that meet customers’ needs, and communicate the impact of those product and features.
  • Roadmap and milestone for multiple products, understand how they're interconnected and prioritize efforts accordingly.
  • Respond to a changing environment to alter priorities.
  • Collaborate with both teams and stakeholders to define problems and identify solutions.
