Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- Experience with Networking, Network Architecture, Networking Protocols, Software Architecture.
- Experience in network designs as solution architect or professional services.
- Experience in the cloud with a hyperscaler in a customer or field engineering role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- Certifications in Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CCIE, VCDX, Cloud Computing Platform Certified Professional, etc.
- 5 years of experience in software development or engineering.
- Experience with open source communities such as Linux Foundation, and technologies such as Kubernetes, gRPC, Envoy.
- Proven track record of delivering network or network security designs and best practices, architecture designs, reference architectures, or blueprints.

We are building networking and security solutions for Google Cloud customers to help them simplify and accelerate their journey to the cloud by meeting them where they are e.g., migrating workloads, building a modern cloud native application stack, consuming and gathering insights from data, running AI/ML workloads, designing security for applications, data and users.
Responsibilities
- Own Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) by overseeing collaboration with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design.
- Own and oversee definition of product roadmaps.
- Own development and secure buy-in for a product goal that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.
- Oversee validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business).
- Define solutions for customers, author solutions requirements documents, architecture design guidance, validations, and benchmarks using the Cloud Networking portfolio of products including partner products to enable business outcomes for customers.
