Sales Representative, Higher Education, Gemini Adoption (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in technology sales or account management, with a specific focus on the education or public/government sector and pedagogical concepts.
  • Experience presenting to and building relationships with various stakeholders at academic institutions or enterprises.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in education technology, enterprise software, account management, or a related field.
  • Experience in successfully executing go-to-market strategies and consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other transformative technologies, including supporting customer adoption and change management.
  • Understanding of the Higher Education sector, including its unique issues and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Google is hiring a Gemini Adoption Sales Representative for its Higher Education team to champion its mission of transforming learning and research with AI. This entrepreneurial role is key to executing the go-to-market strategy for Gemini, Google's advanced AI models.

The representative will manage a portfolio of universities, acting as a trusted advisor to drive meaningful adoption of Gemini. This involves building strong relationships with stakeholders, from faculty to university leadership, and demonstrating Gemini's transformative value for teaching and research.

The ideal candidate has a passion for education, a strong understanding of AI, and a proven ability to drive technology adoption. A critical part of the role is gathering customer feedback to help shape the product's future.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the GTM strategy for Gemini, owning key results and delivering training to demonstrate quantifiable value.
  • Engage with key stakeholders as a trusted advisor, helping them build AI integration roadmaps and managing interaction records.
  • Synthesize and relay customer insights to directly influence Gemini's future product roadmap for education.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across Google like Cloud and Marketing to ensure a unified strategy for supporting universities.
