As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

In this role, you will showcase your significant talents for program management, mobilizing cross-functional teams, delivering solutions for scale and data-driven decision making to refine, launch and take to market solutions that accelerate our customers success in the cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Set the goal and direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and running multiple projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
  • Drive consistency between Cloud processes and central processes. Bring visibility and strengthen communication across the teams.
  • Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery across the complete portfolio of Cloud products and solutions.
  • Engage with engineering directors, product leaders and other technical program manager groups, to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage objectives and key results (OKRs), release on time, bring tooling for efficiencies and help the teams you are engaged with in execution.
