Data and Measurement Specialist, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience creating customer-facing materials (e.g., pitches, narratives, or one-sheets) for sales teams.
  • 3 years of experience in Consumer and Market Insights, media measurement, and privacy landscape.
  • 3 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media (e.g., search, social, mobile, display, and video media).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising measurement methods including attribution, Geo-Experiments, Incrementality/Lift and Online-to-Offline measurement.
  • Experience with Implementation and Configuration of Web/App Measurement (including: Data-Driven Attribution/Non-Last Click Attribution, Cross-Device Measurement, Conversion Tracking).
  • Experience with leading third-party measurement platforms for web (Adobe Omniture) and mobile measurement partners (Appsflyer, Branch, Adjust).
  • Experience in dealing with and influencing senior advertiser/agency decision makers.
  • Experience in presenting insights and results to senior audiences.

We partner with large advertisers and we support them in maximizing their business objective through the adoption of Google digital solutions. As a Data and Measurement Specialist, you will work with Google large clients supporting them with their challenges around measurement, privacy, and data activation (audiences and targeting, product enhancement, and automation). In this role, you will be at the heart of Google’s digital advertising sales activity since your job will be to enable clients to understand the impact of their digital advertising spend on their business objectives. You will provide trusted marketing measurement, helping our clients gain customer insights, maximize their marketing return on investment, drive innovation in the Italian digital marketing ecosystem, and help to increase measurement competences internally. Moreover, you will drive clients through the technological changes in the digital advertising ecosystem to comply with regulations.

This role will require a high degree of cross-functional collaboration across other Specialist areas, gTech, Product (GTM) teams, Ads, and Cloud sales teams.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and Google/client product and data teams to measure true business value. This involves building and implementing measurement strategies that showcase how clients can improve business outcomes through customized measurement techniques.
  • Drive the adoption of preferred measurement methodologies, products, and approaches across clients, verticals, and the industry.
  • Design tests using client data and Google or third-party technology tools to demonstrate the effectiveness of robust measurement practices.
  • Conduct in-depth custom ad effectiveness studies and analyses to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and media.
  • Share and scale best practices, learnings, and business strategies (e.g., objection handling, pitching, business techniques, etc.) to upscale accounts, and link solutions and best practices to meet customer and Google business needs.
