Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin).
- 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) evaluations.
- Experience with Bill of Quantities Java for back-end coding language.
- Experience in full-stack development.

You will enhance how we save and auto-fill data for receipts, flights, events, loyalty programs, and more, impacting users.Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain features for importing pass data from Chrome or Android into Google Wallet such as receipts, flight reservations, loyalty cards, event tickets, offers, and hotel reservations.
- Develop features and User Interface (UI) components for Google Wallet and Google Play Services, with focus on evaluating and improving Machine Learning server and on-device model performance.
- Participate in code reviews, provide and incorporate feedback to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Collaborate with executive engineers, Product Managers, User Experience (UX), and other teams (e.g., Chrome and Android intelligence) to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
