Senior Field Sales Representative, Public Sector (Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in the public sector market, working with government agencies or public institutions.
  • 3 years of experience in selling public cloud services to public institutions.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently as this role requires interactions in Japanese with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software in the Central Government or Public Sector industry.
  • Experience in working with and managing partners in implementation projects, including global and domestic system integrators.
  • Experience working on business and legal agreements with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Experience driving proposals and implementations for national core systems, including My Number-related initiatives.
  • Knowledge of social security domains (labor, medical, pension), such as the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

As a Senior Field Sales Representative for the Public Sector, you will serve as a partner to Central Government agencies. You will go beyond promoting individual products to defining the value Google can offer to the market. You will collaborate with System Integrator to address government procurement and security requirements, driving digital transformation in the public sector.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with Central Government customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Define new business frameworks to draft and execute strategies for new market spaces, leading business launches and business generation.
  • Construct partnerships with System Integrator (SIs) serving Central Government agencies. Execute joint Go-to-Market strategies and drive collaboration to expand business reach.
  • Discuss and manage entire agreement cycles, presenting to executives.
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint and growth plans. Act based on customer feedback to improve Google Cloud solutions tailored to public sector needs.
