Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in Go-To-Market strategy, product commercialization, technical sales, or business development within cloud computing, enterprise software, or artificial intelligence.
  • Experience working with AI/ML technologies and driving sales or adoption within the media, entertainment, advertising, or marketing technology sectors.
  • Experience leading engagements with C-level executives (e.g., CMOs, CTOs, Chief AI Officers) at enterprise organizations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent advanced technical degree.
  • Experience taking nascent, cutting-edge technologies from the "demo/hype" phase into scalable, revenue-generating enterprise production.
  • Experience developing partnerships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), creative agencies, and system integrators to build third-party solutions on top of platform APIs.
  • Experience with the GenMedia landscape, including familiarity with video generation (e.g., Veo, Sora), image generation (e.g., Imagen, Midjourney), and advanced text-to-speech/audio models.
  • Knowledge of creative production pipelines, agency workflows, and enterprise content supply chains, with the ability to identify where GenMedia APIs can drive the most ROI.

The Global AI GTM team is at the forefront of Google Cloud's AI strategy, serving as the primary connection point between our Go-To-Market and Product organizations. We operate with a mission to accelerate AI adoption and drive commercial success by presenting a unified, integrated "Google AI" approach to the market.

Generative Media is a critical pillar of our AI strategy, empowering organizations to transform how they create, edit, and interact with video, image, audio, and speech assets.

As the GenMedia AI GTM Lead, you will serve as the primary bridge between our Go-To-Market operations and product/engineering teams (including DeepMind). You will own the commercialization strategy for our state-of-the-art models—including Veo (our flagship video model), Imagen, and our advanced TTS/Speech models. You will be responsible for driving API consumption, ecosystem growth, and enterprise adoption of GenMedia across customer segments, from global production houses to marketers and ISVs.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the commercialization and market adoption of Google Cloud’s Generative Media portfolio, including cutting-edge models like Veo, Imagen, and advanced Audio/Speech AI. Serving as the vital bridge between product/engineering and the global sales field, you will define and execute the Go-To-Market strategy, orchestrate targeted sales plays, and accelerate GenMedia API consumption across enterprise marketers, creative studios, and ISVs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$312,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end "leverage GenMedia in your business" sales play. Develop tailored approaches to sell into specialized verticals (e.g., creative studios, advertising platforms, retail/e-commerce, and enterprise marketing teams).
  • Accelerate the adoption of GenMedia APIs for internal content pipelines (e.g., catalog generation) and external user experiences (e.g., virtual try-ons).
  • Act as the primary connection point between our customer-facing teams and the product organization. Synthesize field trends, analyze early-stage lighthouse opportunities, and provide critical feedback on required model adjustments, tooling (like Creative Studio), and features to drive commercial success.
  • Design and lead the orchestration of GenMedia sales plays. Partner with finance, marketing, programs, and regional sales leadership to localize plans and execute seamlessly.
  • Drive stickiness with developers and fuel ecosystem growth by positioning our multimodal performance with Gemini 3.x and GenMedia.
