Video Account Executive, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with video advertising or other digital advertising in online branding or marketing.
  • Experience partnering with clients on advertising products or marketing technology/ad technology (e.g., pitching solutions, consulting, project management, or demonstrating products).
  • Experience in facilitation and influencing at executive leadership levels by building strong relationships.
  • Experience in, or understanding of, the video, media, and entertainment industry.
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on projects in a cross-functional team setting, both internally and externally.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.


As a Video Account Executive, you will support and grow video business with Google’s advertisers, and manage the relationships with those advertisers. You will serve as their advocate while collaborating with other sales teams to provide them with a comprehensive portfolio of marketing solutions. You will also work cross-functionally to help develop scalable, cross-platform advertising solutions around YouTube and video. You'll act as a consultant, guiding clients on how to best leverage Google's video solutions to achieve their marketing goals, from increasing brand awareness to building deeper connections with their target audience. This includes crafting compelling narratives around Google's value proposition and demonstrating ROI for our clients.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to grow video and brand growth for our partners across Retail, Travel and Government.
  • Develop high-level relationships to serve as a trusted consultant and optimize video and brand strategy.
  • Generate plans to define strategies and tactics that align to deliver customer business outcomes, while navigating complex agency and client relationships.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans, up-fronts planning, and Video incentives program facilitation.
  • Monitor and provide timely and accurate forecasts of sales performance, opportunities, and pipelines.
