Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technical program management.
  • 7 years of experience in a leadership role with/without direct reports.
  • Experience delivering software programs on immersive and spatial hardware.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships internally and externally.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing and influencing large teams, including executives (C-level).
  • Ability to grow in ambiguous situations, establish structure, and lead programs.
  • Ability to program manage effectively with communication and collaboration skills.

About the job

In this strategic, high-stakes leadership role for Immersive and Spatial devices, you will be responsible for the delivery of the next generation of products and will oversee our critical XR portfolio. This role requires the ability to match technical excellence with strategic execution and an understanding of the product and the business. You will identify and resolve gaps in the technical stack along with current processes and tools to ensure successful delivery, as well as identify methods that contribute to operational scalability for the internal team. You will empower and manage a high-performing team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs), driving the strategic roadmap for landing high quality products and ensuring quality in subsequent updates.

lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $240000 - $334000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy, define, lead, and own the execution of strategic XR programs, both immersive and spatial devices from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with the overall product outlook and business objectives. Drive program schedules, identify risks, manage dependencies, and communicate status to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships, build alliances, and advocate for program needs across different organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, UX Design, Research, and Operations to deliver high-quality XR products and services.
  • Lead triage with Tech Leads on incoming challenges for your focus areas.
  • Manage a team of TPMs, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
