Relationship Manager, Google Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS products and platforms.
  • Experience selling to State, Local, and Education customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience selling infrastructure software, databases, analytical tools, applications software, or cloud solutions.
  • Experience with large complex commercial and legal agreements working with procurement, legal, and business team.
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer’s technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.

As a Relationship Manager, you will serve as the primary relationship owner and business generator for state, local, and education accounts within Missouri.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$164,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner and business generator for state, local, and education accounts within Missouri. 
  • Drive new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and manage the entire business cycle from needs assessment to successful implementation.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customer challenges, crafting and presenting tailored solutions, discussing agreements, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage deep understanding of Public Sector challenges and opportunities to build trust and credibility, positioning our company as a strategic partner for their digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Technical Specialists and Customer Success Managers, to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services, ultimately maximizing business generation and growth within assigned territory.
