Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program management and regulatory disclosure.
- 10 years of experience in people management.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in a technology, policy, or a related field.
- Experience with report creation, including editorial and design and familiarity with AI transparency and reporting trends.
- Knowledge of the AI landscape, AI product development and key AI policy issues.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and constantly evolving environment, with ability to influence and communicate across functions and levels
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear language.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
About the job
As a Lead of Google's AI Transparency Reporting team within Trust and Safety, you will ensure the transparency and accountability of Google's AI systems to regulators and key opinion formers worldwide, delivering reporting that works across Google’s product area ecosystem. You will own critical projects in the fast-moving cross-Google AI Transparency Reporting space, collaborating extensively with cross-functional partners to identify requirements, drive alignment, and deliver complex regulatory reports. You will serve as an expert in AI Transparency, translating complex technical concepts into clear, plain language for regulators and key opinion formers, ultimately ensuring that Google's transparency efforts are consistent, scalable, and sustainable across all products and services. You will lead Google’s cross-functional efforts to plan, create and publish Google’s annual Responsible AI Progress Report, managing exec input and approvals as well as the end to end editorial and design process.

Responsibilities
- Lead the AI Transparency Reporting team, managing a team of experts and collaborating with partners across Google, to deliver complex regulatory reporting in the AI space.
- Act as a key strategic advisor and thought leader to executive stakeholders regarding AI transparency and regulatory reporting.
- Deliver cross-functional alignment and approval on complex AI transparency deliverables, ensuring that transparency initiatives are implemented appropriately across Google's products and services.
- Lead the strategy and implementation of AI transparency reporting, including new requirements based on incoming AI regulation.
- Influence product roadmaps to deliver scalable reporting tools, working closely with engineering teams to identify needs and implement effective solutions.
