Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- 5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary product roadmaps in partnership with cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Policy, Trust & Safety) to deliver high-stakes safety or privacy features.
- 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or other advanced degree in a technology or business related field.
- 3 years of experience in a team leadership role involving preparing and delivering presentations to VP+ and C-suite leaders.
- Experience navigating global regulatory compliance (e.g., COPPA, GDPR, UK AADC) within a consumer-facing product or organization.
- Experience collaborating with external advisory committees or child development experts (e.g., child safety advocates or academic researchers).
- Ability to build foundational product infrastructure (e.g., common identity or control systems) that supports multiple product verticals horizontally across an organization.

As a part of the YouTube Youth team, you will build a platform that allows kids and teens to discover new interests, learn from various perspectives, when they explore the world of online video and build fun, useful, and responsible experiences for youths of all ages. Your goal is to serve the needs of families around the world by providing age-appropriate options for enjoying YouTube.You will pioneer safer default experiences and empower parents with the controls they need to lead their families. You will help navigate and innovate within an ever-changing global regulatory landscape, turning safety issues into opportunities to protect and inspire the nex t generation. You will also help fuel the ecosystem by funding high-quality content in a safe and responsible manner.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute the YouTube Youth Foundations roadmap, ensuring core safety, engaging content and parental control features are seamless across YouTube Kids and related platforms.
- Lead and coach a team of PMs to structure and solve multi-dimensional issues.
- Collaborate with legal and policy teams to navigate global regulatory shifts (e.g., UK AADC, California AADC) and translate them into product requirements.
- Lead end-to-end adoption of a new, platform-wide data pillar, to both peer product teams and executive leaders, ensuing successful implementation and impact.
- Drive monetization and content strategy to support a high-quality, responsible creator ecosystem for families.
